Freeway Airport has been offering flight instruction, pilot services and aircraft maintenance in the Baltimore-Washington area for over 50 years. Located in one of the few rural areas left in Maryland's Prince George's County, Freeway Airport offers an ideal and relaxed atmosphere for flight lessons. Our eight full time Certified Flight Instructors can provide you with FAA Part 141 approved flight training from the Private Pilot rating all the way to a Commercial Pilot in our ADS-B equipped aircraft. Our flight school has 15 aircraft and is open seven days a week from 8:00am 'til dark.
Freeway has been providing aircraft maintenance for over 50 years. We are an FAA Certified Aircraft Maintenance Facility and a Mooney Factory Authorized Repair Station. We specialize in Cessna Aircraft and have experience with a wide range of other aircraft. Our expert mechanics will also handle off-field and emergency maintenance. Phone 301·262·6544.
We offer FAA approved ground school classes. Flight training is available for nearly all airplane licenses and ratings.
Freeway maintains an extensive fleet of Piper and Cessna aircraft to meet every training need. Our aircraft rental rates are hourly wet.
